Description
EGB Pozzolanic Finish Coat is an exceptional performing, high quality, cement based compound designed to skimcoat, smooth and level irregularities from featheredge up to 12mm. It has superior bond strength to concrete substrate and brickwork surfaces.
Basic Uses
EGB Pozzolanic Finish Coat is an extremely versatile material highly recommended for bedding, pointing brickwork and block work, backing and bedding for wall tiles and for both internal and external plastering. It can be used for all type of concrete substrate, lightweight autoclaved aerated block, brick wall and block wall.
Advantages
Method of Use
Surface Preparation
Remove all dust, oil or traces of foreign materials. Dampen the dry concrete or plastered surface before application of EGB Pozzolanic Finish Coat.
Mixing
Add approx. 5.5 - 6 litres of water to 25kg of EGB Pozzolanic Finish Coat. Mix thoroughly using an electrical mixer until the desired homogeneous mortar paste is achieved. Ensure the mix is free from lumps before use.
Application
Curing
In hot ambient temperature, the plaster should be cured with water spray during the first 2 days, for better shrinkage control. Painting onto plastered surface should only commence after 7 days.

Storage
Must be stored in a dry place and free from moisture contact.
Shelf Life
6 Months from the date of manufacture.

EGB Pozzolanic Finish Coat is non-hazardous. In case of eye contact, wash with plenty of water. If irritation persists, seek immediate medical attention.

Application
- Surface must be dry, clean and free from dust.
- Can be applied with hand and mechanical tools. All tools should be clean before work commences.
- Stir before use. It may diluted to a workable viscosity by adding clean water.
- The based cement mortar should be semi cure (Touch dry). Pre weting is recommended if the based has achieved more than 80% of curing. However, over weting on cured plastered 0s00.00.200.
- urfaces resulting in accumulation of water should be avoid.
